Roles and Responsibilities

Nate joined GROW Licking County in December 2015.  As Executive Director,  Nate serves as the primary point of contact for business and industry attraction and expansion inquiries about Licking County as well as the County's representative for activities related to the region's Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC).

 

Recognitions

Named by the Newark Advocate as a "20 Under 40" for 2016

 

Community Involvement

Nate is a member of the Young Leaders of Licking County, and previously served on the International Economic Development Council's (IEDC) Young Professional Advisory Committee.  Nate also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE), the the Licking County Governmental Preservation Society (LCGPS), and Licking County Coalition for Housing.

 

Nate also volunteers with the United Way of Licking County and was a participant in the inaugural Dancing with the Newark Stars, a charity fundraiser to support the Downtown Newark Association (DNA) & the Licking County Coalition for Care.

 

Past Experience

Prior to joining GROW Licking County, Nate worked in the Pittsburgh region, first as a Business Development Specialist for Allegheny County Economic Development and then as a Project Manager for the Regional Industrial Development Corp. of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC)

Masters of Public Administration, Ohio University (expected 2019)

Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication, Muskingum University

Roles and Responsibilities

Taylor joined GROW Licking County in the Spring of 2019.  As Economic Development Coordinator, Taylor will work directly with internal and external resources to further develop GROW Licking County's Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) program as well as management of the county's occupational marketing campaign, Licking County Works.

 

Past Experience

Prior to joining GROW Licking County, Taylor served as an Accounting Specialist with GBQ Partners, LLC in Columbus, OH.

Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, Majoring in Finance, Mount Vernon Nazarene University
