GROW Engages Montrose Group

GROW Licking County engages the Montrose Group to aid in an Economic Development Action Plan

GROW Licking County Community Improvement Corporation in association with the Ohio Manufacturing Institute and the Defense Manufacturing Assistance Program, are pleased to announce that the Columbus, Ohio based Montrose Group, LLC has been selected to aid GROW Licking County Community Improvement Corporation with their proposed Economic Development Action Plan.

“The mission of GROW Licking County Community Improvement Corporation is to facilitate the continued growth and prosperity of Licking County,” said Nate Strum, Executive Director.  “Through this Economic Development Action Plan, GROW Licking County will be able to establish a roadmap to ensure that our community’s transportation corridors, infrastructure, and workforce continue to meet the demands of future economic-based jobs here in Licking County.”

“The Defense Manufacturing Assistance Program provides community project funding to support actionable economic development plans,” stated Kathryn Kelly, Managing Director for the Ohio Manufacturing Institute.  “The work that GROW Licking County is conducting with the Montrose Group will have both short-term and long-reaching impact for the economic vitality of the region.”

“The Montrose Group is excited to work with GROW Licking County on its Economic Development Action Plan.  Communities that plan for their future bring jobs and capital investment that creates wealth and prosperity for their citizens,” said Nate Green, Director of Economic Development for the Montrose Group.  “The Montrose Group's Learn, Listen and Do approach to economic development plans will assist Licking County in determining the best path forward for economic development growth in the coming decades.”
