Hope Timber Pallet & Recycling was awarded a $25,000 JobsOhio inclusion grant to go toward a $117,000 project to purchase machinery and equipment. Hope Timber, located in Newark, is committed to hiring new full time staff and retaining a workforce of 70.
Velvet Ice Cream, headquartered in Utica, was awarded a $25,000 JobsOhio inclusion grant for machinery and equipment.
Velvet, a fourth generation ice cream producer with a national footprint, is embarking on a $300,000 project to pivot and diversify their business from foodservice to sourcing the grocery industry.
Velvet has committed to hiring new full time employees and retaining their workforce of 102.
PCA is a long-time local full-service supplier of corrugated packaging located in Newark.
