Introducing GROW Licking County CIC

As we begin a new year, we figured this would be a great time to reintroduce GROW Licking County CIC! For the next six posts we’ll be elaborating on our organizational mission and our role in economic development in Licking County.

GROW Licking County CIC is a public-private partnership initiated by the Licking County Commissioners to expand the economic development platform of the county. In 2011 the Licking County Chamber of Commerce and the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority engaged to combine resources, knowledge and information for economic growth in Licking County with a mission to market Licking County to attract industrial-base businesses and retain existing industrial-base businesses. In 2019, GROW Licking County became a freestanding organization after previously being housed with the Licking County Chamber of Commerce.

All GROW initiatives are led by two staff members, Nate Strum and Stephanie Bosco, as well as an engaged 15-member board of directors representing local municipalities, utility providers, developers, education partners and private businesses.

Check back next week to learn more about GROW Licking County initiatives. In the meantime, visit our website at www.growlickingcounty.org.
